Strong Literary Characters

When we talk about strong literary characters, we are talking not about physical strength.  Instead, we are talking about a literary character who is memorable and unique.  Think about all the characters you have encountered in literature, television and film.  In your opinion, who is the strongest, most original, most unique character? Defend your proposition with support. That support must include at least two examples.  Remember to write in Standard English with correct grammar and spelling.
