Look at page 27 of your composition book to review the types of conflict we have studied. Then, post a comment listing one of the conflicts from pages 25 - 69 of Party Girl. Explain what type of conflict it is and why.
Here's an example: On page 4, Dreamer tries to get Ana to sneak out, but Ana wants to study for her Algebra test. Dreamer keeps trying to persuade her. This causes internal conflict (character vs. self) for Ana. She is trying to decide if she should study or sneak out. She resolves the conflict by sneaking out.
on page 63 dreamer gets into a gang fight it`s external conflict(character vs character) it`s external because she is going to fight someone

ReplyDeleteOne conflict in the story is when Serena wears one of Ana's earrings at her funeral and Kata get mad at her and tells her to take them out. This conflict is character vs. character because Kata is arguing with another character.

ReplyDeleteDreamer took a razor from the medicine cabinet and she held it between her index finger and thumb, then she slowly cut her skin writing Ana's name on it. this is a character vs. self conflict because it's only her cutting herself.
