having power doesn't make you strong. Teenie killed mr.derby but she the boss of the kitchen. i thing power means you are strong because the stronger you are the weaker you are.
ReplyDeletethe theme of the book is, with hope and courage, you could accomplish your goal. I think this is the theme because Amari and Polly had the courage to go into the wild and travel at night to get to freedom. she had hope that she was going to make it.

The theme of the book is,always have hope even though you think there`s no hope left. I think this a theme because Amari and Polly had faith every time, and especially during the journey.

This is true in my life because I have strength to do whats right and stand up for whats right.
My theme is having hope can get you threw a hard time. This is a theme because all the slaves have hope and they will eventually leave to be free. this is in my life because when i was going threw a hard time i had hope and i am not in a hard time anymore.

I think it is a theme because how,even though she's had to go through so much, she's never given up hope and been able to find a way out.This does not relate to me because I have had alot of disappointment in my life.
ReplyDelete1)Life is full of betrayal. 2)This is a theme because Dr. Hoskins betrayed Mr.Derby when he told him to sell Amari, Polly, and Tidbit. 3)This is true in real life because people can be betrayed by others even people they have known for a long time but sometimes it might be the right thing to do.

ReplyDelete2)This theme goes for many characters in the book, for example Amari could have killed herself at any point or given up hope but she continued fighting on even when times were tough.
3) This theme is true to me as well but not as much as Amari. A lot of things have happened in my life and still do but I still keep fighting on and never give up. We all have the strength to face our problems even though it doesn't seem like it. We all have more power than we think.

DeleteOne theme of copper sun is " Through your eyes it may seem hopeless, but hope is always still there" because Amari had a happy life , but they came and took it from her , they stole her home, joy, and spirit. she thought you would never be free again that all hope was lost, that all her life she would be a slave, but a opportunity came and she took it ,and she was free. No matter how bad things may seem at first it always get better. This is related to me because i thought i couldn't get through something but i overcame it.
ReplyDeleteThe theme of copper sun is having hope.I think this is the theme for copper sun because Amari and all the other slaves like polly had a lot of hope to not give up even though they had to do terrible stuff or didn't want to do the stuff they were suppose to do.This is true in my life because even though i face bad situations i keep my hopes and head up.Hope for the best

The theme in copper sun is Never give up in life no matter what situation you are in always have your head held up high.
ReplyDeleteI think that this is one of copper sun's theme because Amari got her freedom because she never gave up and no matter what she went through she always looked forward.
This theme relates to my life because i always look forward and i never look back to what i have done.
The theme I choose is if you have hope you could succeed. For example Amari's family was all killed and Amari had hope and without her family she succeed in life. If she didn't had hope she could of killed herself too but she didn't. This is related to me in a way because I always have hope and I succeed in the end!
